Job Description
CPU (Contract Postal Unit) hiring for Post Office counter service. Must be able to apply skills learned to find best options for customers’ packages, sell stamps, and be familiar with what we sell in our retail store. Cleaning, pricing merchandise, sorting mail and packages, are required. Must have positive mental attitude, friendly smile, a pleasant demeanor, and a good sense of humor. Flexible schedule, part-time hours (full or half days, 9am-5pm, Monday thru Friday, and Saturday 9am-1pm, 2-4 days a week, usually 12-24 hours per week). Can be fast-paced and requires heavy lifting and excellent customer service skills. (Top-notch customer service, under pressure, is key to this position).
