Use 3D printers, laser cutters, and other shop equipment to create medium- to high-fidelity prototypes. Maintain tools, shop cleanliness, and 3D printers. Edit and optimize 3D model files for 3D printing. Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Experience working with model-making materials and equipment such as foam core, wood, metal, acrylic, power tools, and hand tools. Experience with 3D printers required. Proficiency in shop processes and safety procedures for tool use. Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo. Builder/tinkerer with assembly and hands-on fabrication skills.
